UniHamper: laundry, handled, for college students.
UniHamper is part of suds, built for one job: getting students' laundry done. A local laundromat picks it up from your dorm or apartment, washes, dries and folds it, and brings it back. You pay nothing until the wash starts.
- Washed by local laundromats
- On or off campus
- $0 until the wash starts
Spend the hours on anything but laundry.
Between classes, work and everything else, a laundry room with no free machines is the last thing you need. UniHamper takes it off your list.
Real laundromats, every time
Every UniHamper order goes to a local laundromat with commercial machines and staff who do this all day. Pick one yourself, or send it to every laundromat nearby and the first one free takes it.
Dorm or apartment
Living on campus or off it, it works the same. Add your school and residence hall to the order so the driver knows exactly where to find you.
Pay when the wash starts
Booking only places a hold on your card. You see the price before you book, you're charged when washing begins, and any price change needs your OK first.
Flat $9.99 pickup & delivery
One flat fee covers the trip there and back, and it goes to the laundromat doing the driving. Near the laundromat? Drop it off yourself and skip the fee.
Track it live
See when your laundry is picked up, washing, folded and on its way back, right in the app.
Wash & fold or dry clean
Everyday laundry by the load, plus dry cleaning for the interview suit or the formal dress, from laundromats that offer it.
Five steps, and your laundry's done.

One company, two apps.
UniHamper is a suds company. Same team, same secure payments through Stripe, and the same local laundromats. The difference is focus: suds serves everyone and lets you choose a laundromat or an independent Laundry Pro. UniHamper is built for students, and every order goes to a laundromat.

Is UniHamper part of suds?
Yes. UniHamper is a suds company focused on college students. It runs on the same platform, with the same team and the same local laundromats.
Do I have to be a student?
No. UniHamper is built for students, but anyone can use it. If you'd rather choose from Laundry Pros as well as laundromats, use the suds app.
I live off campus. Does it still work?
Yes. On campus or off, a laundromat picks up from your door. Adding your school and dorm is optional.
When am I charged?
Booking only places a hold on your card. You're charged when the laundromat starts washing. If the weight or load count changes, you approve the new price first.
What does pickup and delivery cost?
A flat $9.99 for the round trip, paid to the laundromat that drives it. Drop off your laundry yourself and there's no fee.
